The Ojai Festival Women’s Committee reimagines the beloved Ojai Holiday Home Tour by presenting an online video tour of three Ojai Valley properties.
Launching on Nov. 21 on the Ojai Music Festival’s website, guests will enjoy a cinematic celebration of three homes and their unique architectural and historical details. The video tour, produced by Ojai-based Square Productions, will be narrated by Ojai residents and acclaimed designer/architect couple Brooke and Steve Giannetti of Giannetti Home fame.
This year’s selection of homes are Casa de Paz, a historical landmark designed by George Washington Smith and a classic example of the Spanish Colonial Revival style; Roman Holiday, home of architect Fred Fisher, this contemporary three-story “box on a hill” is reminiscent of the Tuscan villas on hilltops; and La Tranquilidad, a Spanish Colonial style home, designed by architect Austen Pierpont on four of the original 60 acres of Country Club Estates.
The Home Tour’s companion event, the Holiday Marketplace, will also provide a virtual shopping experience, featuring many returning vendors as well as new options. There is no charge to the shopper to enter the online Marketplace. There, they will choose from more than 30 vendors ranging from home décor, crafts and jewelry to clothing and holiday gifts.
“As one of the largest financial supporters of the Ojai Music Festival and its BRAVO education program, the Women’s Committee is proud of the essential role we play in the impact of the Festival in our Ojai community,” said Laurel Crary, Ojai Festival Women’s Committee Holiday Home Tour chair.
The virtual event continues to benefit the Ojai Music Festival and its BRAVO education and community program, which offers free music workshops to Ojai Valley public schools and the community.
Tickets for the virtual Home Tour are based on a “pay-what-you-can” model with a minimum suggested donation of $15. Guests who participate will receive a private access link on Nov. 21 to enjoy the tour and will be made available until Dec. 21. There is no charge to shoppers to visit the online marketplace portal.
