VC reports a record 241 COVID-19 hospitalizations; record 59 in the ICU

Ventura County Public Health reported the following COVID-19 numbers for Ventura County on Wednesday:

-497 new cases since yesterday

-27,911 total cases

-19,652 recovered cases

-8,055 active cases under quarantine

-310,661 people tested

-241 hospitalizations (county all-time record)

-59 in the ICU (county all-time record)

-3.7% ICU capacity remaining countywide

-0.5% ICU capacity remaining in Southern California region

-204 deaths (+3 since yesterday)
