OUSD to hold special meeting Dec. 18 on COVID-19 compensation for staff

The Ojai Unified School District Board will meet Friday, Dec. 18, at 4:30 p.m. and may approve extra compensation for employees due to additional responsibilities brought on by COVID-19. View the agenda at https://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/1050693/12-18-20_agenda.pdf
In light of extra time and efforts by employees during the pandemic, the Ojai Federation of Teachers, the California School Employees Association and the Ojai Unified School District agreed to allocate a portion of COVID-19 funding to one-time compensation for the 2020–2021school year.
Under the tentative agreement, all employees will be given an equal compensation amount, according to OUSD and OFT.
The meeting, which will be held via teleconference, will be livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/user/adminojaiusdorg and https://www.facebook.com/ojaiusd.org.
Public comments can be made prior to 4 p.m. Dec. 18 via www.ojaiusd.org or during the meeting from the OUSD board room at 414 E. Ojai Ave.
