BREAKING: OUSD district offices vandalized

Several Ojai Unified School District offices and Chaparral High School buildings were vandalized late Sunday night, Oct. 17.

The graffiti coincided with a statewide planned walkout of students to protest the COVID-19 vaccine mandate announced by Gov. Gavin Newsom on Oct. 1.

The Oct. 13 OUSD board meeting also featured a crowd of concerned parents speaking out against both the pending vaccination mandate and ongoing mask mandates for students.
