Rosemary Ann Moon, Beilschmidt, Tenbrink passed away on November 28, 2021, at the Wellness Care Center in Oak View, California. She was 87. Born the second of nine children to Leonard and Alma Moon, on our farm in Genoa, Minnesota.

She attended District 86 Elementary School, a one-room schoolhouse and graduated from Rochester Sr. High in 1952.

Rosie was an excellent and popular student, became a cheerleader, and was elected homecoming queen her senior year. She went on to Rochester Jr. College and received a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota. She worked while attending college and was so proud to fund her own tuition. (This was a time when colleges were affordable.)

She moved to Ventura, CA to teach at Balboa Elementary for 2 years, decided to move on, and became the executive secretary at Vetco. She loved her job there.

After retiring, she became a home health assistant, visiting clients in their homes. All her clients loved her. She was also a bell ringer at Christmas time.

Rosie met her first husband, Norbert Beilschmidt, at a church in Ventura. They married in 1963, bought a house in Mira Monte, and resided there until Norby’s passing in 2011. They loved to travel in their RV, visiting friends and relatives across the U.S. They also took several trips to Europe. They were faithful church attendees at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ojai. Rosemary served as secretary to the council and sang in the choir. They were also members of the Ojai Valley Racquet Club.

She was a beautiful, caring, loving person. She adored her nieces and nephews and traveled across the country to attend to their accomplishments. Rosemary loved to cook, garden, write poetry, sing and make gifts gorgeous. She was an avid animal lover. She walked her dog {Mowitz} while picking up trash along the roadside.

Rosemary met and Married Paul Tenbrink in 2012. They took RV trips and enjoyed attending church at Seventh Day Adventist.

Sadly, Rosemary was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2011 and resided at the Wellness Care Center for 5 years.

The family is very grateful for the outstanding care provided to Rosemary. She is predeceased by her parents, brothers Charles and Bruce, sister-in-law Delores Moon, brothers-in-law John Hibbs and Ed Croson. She is survived by Paul Tenbrink, siblings Joyce Enders {Don}, Jeanne Hibbs, Henry Moon, Sharon Croson, Bonnie Netteland, brother-in-law Robert, Linda Moon {Bob Gallagher}, and 18 nieces and nephews.
