Ed Williams VCNC

An online meeting to gather public input on a Pesticide Notification Pilot Program for the state will be held on Tuesday, March 8, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The meeting will be hosted by the Ventura County Department of Agriculture and Weights & Measures.

The Pesticide Notification Pilot Program is planned to commence this spring with Ventura County partnering with the California Department of Pesticide Regulation to pilot an initial program in the Oxnard community of Nyeland Acres.

Ventura County, along with Riverside, Santa Cruz and Stanislaus counties, are partnering with the DPR to launch the pilot projects to develop a statewide pesticide application notification system.
