‘Flora & Fauna’ Museum exhibit wraps March 13

Ojai warming

There are just two more weekends to see the Ojai Valley museum exhibition “Ojai Warming: Flora & Fauna in the Time of Climate Change.”

The last day to see the exhibition is Sunday, March 13.

The exhibit will end with a Town Talk: “Ojai Valley Solutions to Climate Change.” Panelists include Dr. Steve Colomé, Marc Whitman, and Jan Dietrick. All have been involved in city or county climate committees. Tickets are just $5 each. But they must be purchased in advance (no later than noon on March 13) through Eventbrite:

Although the mask mandate has been lifted, wearing face masks indoors is still highly suggested for everyone, and will be required during this Town Talk.

Ojai Valley Museum sent a big thank you to exhibit curator Phil White and all of the exhibition sponsors who helped make this exhibition possible. They are Bill Brothers and Susie Ault, Broesamle-Vondriska Family, Steve Colomé, Dottie and Jim Combs, Carly and Ernie Ford, Brian Holly and Pax Environmental, Molly and Hawk Koch, Vickie Peters, Ron and Linda Phillips, Jim Selman, Jill and Bill Shanbrom, Timothy Teague Photography, Anne and Tony Thacher, Cricket and Terry Twitchell, Suzanne and Phil White, and Marc Whitman, Whitman Architectural Design, Inc. always has something new to read. Mira Monte and Topa Topa Elementary School are the topics of Drew Mashburn's most recent stories. They are always good for a laugh.

This month's online puzzle is a watercolor by Maryann McNeil from 1959. The title is "The Ojai Hills." Find the puzzle here:
