Grant opportunity for high school, college or university newsrooms

The California Press Foundation is offering grants of up to $1,500 to improve the quality of campus media program’s content and delivery. Grants can be used toward the purchase of new hardware, software or for upgrades to improve the program overall. 

Any California high school, college or university newsroom may apply. 

The application deadline is May 13 and grant funds are awarded by May 31. 

The grants are funded by individual members of the California News Publishers Association and its supporters. The Ojai Valley News is a member of CNPA.
