Ojai City Council meeting, Tuesday, April 12.

The Ojai City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, April 12. The meeting will take place in person at Ojai City Hall and virtually. 

One of the consent items is to authorize an increase of an additional $100,000 towards the city’s legal expenses in the Ventura River Watershed Adjudication matter with the City of Ventura. The total amount allocated would then be $250,000. The funds will be pulled from the Reserve Fund. 

Additional items include a review of the public feedback regarding the proposal for an electronic sign near the “Y” intersection for emergency notices, consider a $2,600 donation to the Ojai Community Farmer’s Market for an Earth Day event, and a review of the city’s gas-powered

landscape equipment prohibition to determine whether the council may want to revise the current ordinance in any way.  

Members of the public who wish to make public comments may do so in person at the

meeting, or comment live via telewebinar software, or submit written public comments

in advance of the meeting. Emailed public comments must be submitted no later
