A community forum was hosted in April by the Chalice Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Conejo Valley and can be viewed online at:https://www.facebook.com/ChaliceUUCommunityForum/ under "videos."

Participating in the forum was Steve Colomé of Ojai, who has a doctorate in Environmental Health Sciences from Harvard University, with an emphasis on air pollution.

He serves on the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District Advisory Committee.

Forum topics included:

• Environmental-review exemptions for “antiquated” permits issued prior to 1970.

• Impacts on health, safety, local water, air and soil.

• What people can do to help pass Measures A and B.

VC-SAFE is a coalition of Ventura County individuals and groups, including Food & Water Watch, Los Padres ForestWatch, Patagonia and CAUSE.
