The Ventura County Office of Education has issued a “qualified certification” for the Ojai Unified School District finances and OUSD is required to submit a third interim financial report for operations ending April 30. That report is due June 1.

A “qualified certification” means, “It is projected that the district may not meet its financial obligations in one of the three years,” according to page 6 of the California School Board Association’s website on financial certifications, which can be viewed at: https://bit.ly/39D56Qc

That is one of several items to be discussed when the Ojai Unified School District trustees meet on Wednesday, May 11, starting at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held in the school district board room at 414 E. Ojai Ave.
