Nordhoff dancers to get ‘Into the Headspace’ at dance concert May 20 and 21

Nordhoff students Caitlin Roddick and Hannah Oswald explore movement and weight-sharing as they practice a routine for “Into the Headspace.”


Explore what’s up and on the minds of teenagers as the Nordhoff Choreography Honors students invite you “Into the Headspace” of teens today. Experience this unique dance concert at the Matilija Auditorium, 703 El Paseo Road, on Friday, May 20, at 7 p.m and Saturday, May 21, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. For tickets go to:








Come closer into their thinking and feeling via the art of dance, “the hidden language of the soul,” as said by the famed Martha Graham. 

The theme was chosen by the students themselves using choreography to interpret curiosity, escaping reality, moving forward, seeking approval, validation, imagining other worlds, overthinking, stressing, technology and pushing each other to be your best. 

“We dance out whatever is in our headspace,” as the program explains.
