Poppies Art and Gifts will greet 2022 with its January Guest Artist Heather Mattoon and her series of cats and dogs in clothes. A collection of prints and greeting cards will be available at Poppies, 323 E. Matilija St., Ojai.

 Mattoon has been painting Cats in Clothes and Dogs in Clothes for more than a decade. She uses acrylic paint and glazes to bring these portraits to life. The original paintings have been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide.

 Poppies carries jewelry, photographs, original art, knitwear, decor, and more items made by local artists.

New store hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Mondays (closed Tuesdays)
