Thacher proves to be too much for NHS on tennis court

The Nordhoff tennis team hosted the undefeated Thacher Toads in a non-league contest last week with the talented Toads earning the tough victory. According to NHS head coach, Todd Dickey, Thacher’s doubles were too much for his Rangers to handle. The Toads were able to win seven of the nine sets.
For Thacher, Mitch Weil and Colin Troughton, who typically play singles for the Toads, swept their doubles sets. Nordhoff’s top doubles team comprised of Mikel Elizalde and Thomas Jeffares won two of their three sets and are now an impressive 23-1 overall on the year.
