Bowled over: Foundation is done

When you’re operating at a loss of $80,000 per year, it might be time to call it quits; such is the case for the Libbey Bowl Foundation and the management of the Libbey Bowl.

“During the first four seasons following reconstruction, the Bowl was managed by the Libbey Bowl Foundation, a nonprofit corporation formed for that purpose. During their tenure as manager, the members of the Foundation did everything they could to try to find a promoter/producer with the capacity to bring a diverse range of high quality entertainment to the Bowl,” said Ojai City Manager Rob Clark.
