Ojai celebrates all things lavender in the month of June

The 13th annual Ojai Valley Lavender Festival (OVLF) celebrates all things lavender.
“Lavender is a fantastic plant, especially in this area,” said Maureen Volland of OVLF. “It really thrives in these conditions.”
According to Volland, the festival is intended to celebrate the many uses of lavender and its particular space in Ojai culture.
“We have six organic lavender farms in the Ojai Valley,” said Volland.
Proceeds from the festival help fund a scholarship program named for David Mason of the Ojai Valley Museum. Mason helped found the festival, according to Volland.
