After more than a year, city’s cultural resources committee still digging in

The work of Ojai’s Ad-Hoc Committee on Cultural Resources continues with no end in sight.

“I’d like to see the ad-hoc committee come to a conclusion sooner than later,” said Ojai City Councilman Randy Haney, who serves as a committee co-chair. “It has gone on for a long time.”

The committee, which is tasked with devising a policy to protect Native American cultural resources in a way consistent with Ojai’s General Plan, began its work in July 2015.
