Villanova Prep wins Frontier League title in thrilling fashion

Margaux Sullivan (above) and the Villanova Preparatory School girls’ water polo team defeated the Cate Rams Feb. 8 to claim the Frontier League title. According to VPS head coach Tim Settem, the Lady Wildcats were led by Lyla Moes and Taylor Johnson with two goals each. Sophomore Kyla Lenehan came up huge in goal with 16 saves, including one in the final second on a penalty shot to preserve the 6-5 victory for VPS. The team finished its regular season with an overall record of 14-10 and a perfect 6-0 league record.
