Ojai's marketing efforts continue as tourism debate heats up

For the past four years, Veronica Cole has been an Ojaian in the business of marketing Ojai. 

The director of public relations and marketing for the Ojai Visitors Bureau (OVB), Cole is preparing for her biggest marketing initiative of the year, Ojai Pixie Month, at the same time some are expressing unease about the level of tourism in the valley.
The OVB, funded by the Ojai Tourism Improvement District (OTID), was established in 2012.
OTID's 10-year renewal request and proposed assessment increase is under consideration by the Ojai City Council and has been the subject of some debate.
