Sculptor and professor Stephen Edwards shapes a wax model that will become a glass sculpture.
This year, five area high school art students will get the opportunity to mentor under an established artist as part of the Ojai Arts Commission’s 2017 Mentor Program. The students will work alongside their mentors in a 50-hour-long program this summer during which the students will produce a work of art to be displayed or performed in the fall.
Applicants will be asked to chose the artist with whom they wish to work and why.
