Fulcher gets one year in school funds theft

Ladonna Fulcher, a former Ojai Unified School District (OUSD) employee, was sentenced May 23 to one year in Ventura County Jail and 60 months formal probation after pleading guilty to three felony counts of misappropriation of public funds, according to Ventura County District Attorney Greg Totten.
Fulcher must report to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office at 7 a.m. June 23 to begin her jail sentence.
Fulcher used approximately $64,000 in OUSD funds to pay for her rent, cable, groceries, car payment and other items from May 2013 through June 2015, said Totten.
