City approves brewery design

Topa Topa Brewing Company's plans to open a tap room in downtown Ojai have taken another step forward following the Ojai Planning Commission's approval of the building's proposed design.
Commissioners voted unanimously Dec. 20 to give a green light to the design of the building and a parking variance.
"It's a huge step forward in the right direction," said Topa Topa Brewing Company owner Jack Dyer, who was leased the space by the building's owner, Michelle Kim.
"I'm glad the Planning Commission saw what we saw for the site," he added.
Topa Topa's tap room will move into a space formerly occupied by Ojai Valley Cleaners at 345 E. Ojai Ave.
