The city of Ojai has hired Luke Connolly, a planning professional with 20 years of experience in the Bay Area, to head Ojai's beleaguered Community Development Department (CDD) Ojai City Manager Steve McClary announced Feb. 7.
Connolly, from San Jose, said he's had his eye on a potential move to the California's southern central coast for nearly a decade, and looks forward to moving to town.
“I probably first went to Ojai 15 years ago,” he said. “I found the pace of life and the character of the community left a really good impression on me.”
