It’s official: Nukes are no longer allowed in the city of Ojai

“While a seemingly small step in Ojai this evening, this is an historic event both locally, nationally and globally, and indeed, the eyes of the world are upon Ojai this evening,” proclaimed Robert Dodge as the Ojai City Council prepared to adopt a resolution declaring Ojai a nuclear-free zone.
The resolution, approved by way of the Council’s consent calendar, states that no nuclear weapon may be produced, transported, stored, processed, disposed of or used within city limits.
