Triple-digits temps are on the way

Perry Van Houten, Ojai Valley News reporter
While Ojaians enjoy a relatively cool Fourth of July, with highs expected to reach the upper 80s, triple-digit temperatures are expected to arrive in time for the weekend.

Highs of at least 108 are forecast in the Ojai Valley July 6 through July 7.
The heatwave is due to a very-strong, upper-level, high-pressure system that will set up over the Four Corners region later in the week, she explained.
