Oak View man arrested as part of international heroin operation

An Oak View man was one of a dozen people arrested during a four-month investigation into heroin sales in Ventura County.
According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office (VCSO), in May Ojai deputies became aware of a man allegedly selling heroin in the western part of the county.
Narcotics detectives allege the man, identified as 58-year-old Harold Mory of Oak View, bought 5 ounces of heroin from a distributor in Los Angeles County.
Mory was arrested May 18 on suspicion of felony narcotics offenses, including possession for sale of a controlled substance.
