Oak View RV parking ban hits a speed bump

A ban on parking oversized vehicles in Oak View went into effect Aug. 18, but don't expect the restrictions to be enforced for several more weeks.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is awaiting the installation of signs warning residents of the ban, according to CHP Officer Kevin Denharder.
A spokesman with Supervisor Steve Bennett's office told the Ojai Valley News Aug. 27 that at least 15 signs should be in place within a week or two.
