MLK Remembered At Annual Ojai Event

Local teens put on an event honoring a civil rights hero this week, while other residents around the community gave up part of their valuable vacations in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. About 250 people paid tribute to King at the Libbey Park fountain Monday, according to organizers Zelda Grove, the executive chair of the Ojai Valley Youth Foundation’s MLK Day committee, and Gus Hoffman, a 2010 Nordhoff High School graduate who helps put on the event. The celebration in the park has been organized by the Ojai Valley
