Dog Shooting Investigation Continues

Investigations are still ongoing surrounding the fatal shooting of a dog by a Ventura County Sheriff's deputy last Thursday. According to police, a call came in just before 4 p.m. Thursday that someone "was seen removing license plates from a vehicle and putting them on another vehicle" at a home on Orchard Drive in Mira Monte, said Patrol Supervisor Sgt.
