Marijuana Plants Discovered North Of Ojai

Marijuana growers in the mountains above Ojai took a hit last week after Ventura County Sheriff's Department narcotics officers cleared out a large pot farm in Los Padres National Forest. According to VCSD officials, 22,478 pot plants were eradicated after the department's air unit flew over a large area of forest and spotted the grow operation. Reports say that it took officials five hours to eradicate marijuana plants from two separate sites that were less than a half mile apart. According to Sgt. Mike Horne, Narcotics Unit supervisor,
