Medina Competency Ruling Date Set

At a hearing Monday for Alex Medina, the Mira Monte teen accused of murder, Ventura County Superior Court Judge James Cloninger granted two motions in favor of the prosecution. The court set a date of July 12 to argue whether documents subpoenaed by the prosecution will be released, as well. "I want the trial to be fair. I want for everyone to be prepared, important documents in hand and for witnesses to do their jobs," Cloninger said at the hearing.
