It’s been a tough year for Ojai’s Cantu family, but this week has given them plenty to be thankful for.
Their son, Jonah, 15, underwent surgery Jan. 9 for an aggresive form of brain cancer: glioblastoma multiforme. What followed was six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, then monthly trips to UCLA for more radiation and antibody treatments as part of a clinical trial.
