National Disaster Search Dog Foundation raises $17 million

The National Disaster Search Dog Foundation (SDF) is making significant progress in the creation of a National Training Center (NTC) that will give canines and their firefighter-handlers the advanced training they need to ensure that when disaster strikes, no one is left behind in the wreckage.
The local nonprofit group has just surpassed $17 million in its $20 million campaign to build the center, thanks to 668 donors from Ojai and around the country.
