Latest storm causes little damage

As of 7:30 a.m. Friday, the Ojai Valley appears to have escape serious complications from the storm that settled in overnight. A quick tour of the Ojai Valley found only minor damage to the nativity scene at the Y intersection (above) and a significant amount of standing water at one interesection in Meiners Oaks (below).
The Ventura County Watershed Protection District is reporting that 1.93 inches have fallen so far in Upper Ojai, 2.56 inches on Sulphur Mountain, 2.1 inches in Stewart Canyon, 1.79 inches in Meiners Oaks, 1.47 inches in Oak View and 1.72 inches in Casitas Springs.
